Yeah I wasn’t expecting much when I installed this, right off the bat I had a crashing issue, and I ended up having to change my sound’s sample rate to fix it. However this game is pretty solid. It was finished in a giant hurry so there are a few bugs, such as slightly unresponsive controls for which direction you drift in.
But overall this game is pretty amazing, it has a great soundtrack (even as small as it is) and the gameplay is pretty generic of a cart racing game. Races are extremely based around who can turbo-drift more. The more you turbo-drift, the more you win. The AI generally sucks, because even at it’s hardest level it is generally easy to win if you are constantly drifting, which is shitty because there is no online multiplayer. The game feels fast, but not quite as fast as i’d like to see from a sonic game.
As much as I’m bashing this game, i’m not giving it what it deserves, it really is genuinely a great game. If you enjoyed mario cart, you’ll get a kick out of this.
